Feel the Thrill of Eating in the Dark at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit


Entering the restaurant concept Dine in the Dark (DID) which is located on the ground floor of the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit in Bangkok like entering a typical lounge at the five-star hotels. Bar Su did in fact lounge or waiting room before the guests are guided to enter a room that was so dark is like being blind eye.

The light is believed to eliminate the working concentration of senses of taste andsmell, taste when eating, thus reducing the pleasures of dining. By negating the lightthen a person can concentrate more enjoy food that is eaten, in addition of coursegives unique new experience.

Rules Before Eating

Every guest who comes will be given new guidance about the rules that apply, as itcannot turn on the cell phone because it can dispense light and must wear the apronso as not to dirty the clothes when dropping food or spilled drinks while eating in the dark.

Before entering the restaurant guests will also choose four options, namely West Asia,menus, Vegetarian, and chef's Specials. An item from this menu is deliberately notnotified so that guests have to guess the food choices of its own.

With a price of 1,400 + baht per person-that is her 50 baht will be donated to the Foundation of the blind-by adding 1100 baht visitors can enjoy four types of wine tailored to each course that is eaten.

Each table will be accompanied by a servant who are blind. Dine at DID not only have the chance to feel the senses work optimally, but also a unique experience that will make anyone more appreciative of the visually impaired. DID is also a container ofabsorption of labor for the visually impaired which during the field work is very limited.

The restaurant is only open Tuesday to Saturday it is open from 18:30 until 21:30 (last order)
